Landsby
Landsby is a system that facilitates interactions between immigrants and locals promoting unity in community and engagement among diverse groups under the roof of sustainable living. With Landsby, a diverse micro society will be encouraged to create self-sufficient, sustainable, productive and collaborative working and living conditions on a vacant farm. My hope is to bring new knowledge to local communities and reignite attraction to the rural areas. For such a system, which will be adapted to different settings, I developed a design criteria and exemplified it in a specific location based on the scenarios I made in order to show how it works.
1. As the earth gives life to this plant, integration by rooting people on new soil enables them to grow and improve both themselves and their surroundings.
